Maine Wedding Venue

There is the Austin House which is perfect to hold your rehearsal dinner, it is a restored antique home. It displays wide pine floors, historic paint finishes as well as warm plaster finished. Let us do the work, your rehearsal dinner can be prepared in our Chef’s kitchen and served in the large dining room.

The Austin House is also the perfect venue to prepare for your Maine wedding. There are eight bedrooms, and four and a half bathrooms, offering plenty of room to spread out hair and makeup. While still having common areas available for gathering and visiting. Another one of our great Maine wedding venues is The Man Cave. This is a separate building just outside of the Austin House where the groomsmen and other select guests can occupy themselves.

At River Winds Farm & Estate we also have The Barn, our largest area to hold wedding festivities and a reception. There is enough room for a large sit down dinner service or even a buffet line, still having plenty of room for a dance party. Complete with the original horse stalls, post and beam construction and rustic surroundings will deliver a cozy, rugged feel. The Barn also has a large outdoor deck that has plenty of space for a cocktail hour and allows for the glimpsing of the sun set.

On top of the building venues we have to offer, our rambling lawns, pond and gardens are the idyllic backdrop for an outdoor Maine wedding ceremony or reception. There have been couples that chose to have their ceremony under the apple trees, under an archway outside the barn or evening by the pond. There is plenty of space on the lawn area for a tent to keep your reception safe in case the weather turns.
